Product Description

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is easily thermoformed and lends itself to remarkable reproduction of mould detail. Its glass transition temperature (ABS is amorphous and therefore has no true melting point) is approximately 105°C and may be turned, bored, drilled, milled, sawed, die-cut and routed with ease using high-speed and carbide-tipped tools. ABS is easily machine-finished by filing, grinding, sanding, buffing and polishing. ABS has also good chemical and stress-cracking resistance to inorganic salt solutions, alkalis, mineral acids (except strong oxidizing acids) and animal oils.
