Product Description

Butadiene Acrylonitrile Rubber or more commonly called NBR and Nitrile, is an oil-resistant synthetic rubber produced from a copolymer of acrylonitrile and butadiene. This form of synthetic rubber is generally resistant to oil, fuel, and other chemicals. It also has good elongation properties as well as adequate resilience, tensile and compression set. Its main applications are in fuel hoses, gaskets, rollers, and other products in which oil resistance is required. In comparison, nitrile rubber is also more resistant than natural rubber to oils and acids.
